General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)

As of 25th May 2018, the new EU GDPR regulations came into force.

The Wheel of Fellowship Lodge website as a Content Management System (CMS) provider, stores certain personal information about our members in order to effectively provide our services. We also provide the means for the Site Administrator, Barry Bailey, to store additional personal information about the Lodge members.

The Wheel of Fellowship Lodge website takes privacy very seriously and only stores information that we deem absolutely necessary to provide our services. The Wheel of Fellowship Lodge website has never, and will never, divulge or share personal information with any third party for any reason. In particular, The Wheel of Fellowship Lodge website never uses personal information of the purpose of marketing or advertising.

The Wheel of Fellowship Lodge website holds limited information about members. This primarily consists of email address and password to access the member section of our website as well as possible photographs of members and guests at social events.

The new GDPR regulations mandate that individuals should have as much direct control over their personal information as possible, and have the right to request that their personal information be modified or deleted should they not have direct control over it. Furthermore, it is no longer permissible for individuals to be "opted-in" by default; instead individuals must explicitly consent to their personal information being used.

The Wheel of Fellowship Lodge website now provides the facility to:

  • Request a full report on what information is stored about you
  • Modify or delete that information and/or restrict its use within the extent The Wheel of Fellowship Lodge website provides

GDPR Report requests are based upon email address, as this is the only unique identifier The Wheel of Fellowship Lodge website has to both identify an individual and verify their identity. *

To receive access to your GDPR report, simply log on to the site using your personal log on and password details and send your request to our site administrator Barry Bailey. Alternatively you can email Barry direct at with your request.
